THE GREATEST AMONG YOU WILL BE YOUR SERVANT

–Matthew 23:11


God has given each one of us a gift specifically designed to serve one another. When we focus on others it gives us the greatest joy as we are acting more like Jesus.


1. Jesus served us and calls us to serve each other. 


"...But whoever would be great among you must be your servant... even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. - Matthew 20:26–28


2. Opportunity to plant and grow purposeful relationships with others that we serve together with.


“For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love.” - Galatians 5:13


3. God’s grace is displayed as we join together to serve.

As we serve together, the church is built up, the body is edified and those inside and outside the church experience God’s amazing love. 


"Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone. To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good." - 1 Corinthians 12:4-7

SERVE TEAMS

We are all called to serve for Jesus! The timing is always right, always now! The Lord is looking for willing hearts – not perfect resumés.


The Prayer Palace Church is blessed to have a team of highly motivated, qualified and skilled individuals who love the Lord and are dedicated to building ministry for His glory.


As we expand in various departments, you are welcome to complete this form based on your interest and skills. You're encouraged to spend some prayerful time with the Lord for guidance to a calling to serve in ministry.

First impressions last!


  • GREETERS | The Hostess Ministry provides a warm welcome to all members and guests before each worship service and at Prayer Palace events. Hostesses are stationed at each of the three main entrances to offer smiles, handshakes, and general assistance and distribute inspirational resources.


  • GUEST SERVICES / INFORMATION CENTRE | Our Guest service Team provides assistance to our guests before and after each church service. They also facilitate guided tours as scheduled.


  • BIBLE & GIFTS BOOKSTORE | Be a part of our team who serves in assisting customers in finding products. Meet and greet people, stock products and maintain displays.


  • SAFETY & SECURITY TEAM | Our Serve team assist our members and guests with traffic control, patrolling and other supervision during and after worship services and special events. 


  • USHERS | The Ushers Ministry is responsible for helping to provide a welcoming and orderly environment during the worship services. Ushers assist with seating, and distributing materials as needed. Ushers are assigned to specific sections of the sanctuary in order to build community with regular worshippers in their seating sections.
